UX
A two week sprint with 46 designers: to create a super-system, a design software that caters to designers of any skill, experience, and background.
Constraints
For this design challenge, the stakeholders are already defined and tools like stakeholder analysis are redundant for the process.
Users, affinities and competitive analysis
User personas and journeys were mapped of the many possible users.
Surveys and questionnaires noted pain points from designers.
Discovering affinities
All noted points were sorted into affinities. After prioritising affinities, we concluded with six: Collaboration, Onboarding, Hassle-free performance, User engagement, Storage and Learning.
Heuristics and Heat Map evaluation
A heuristic and heat map evaluation was done for competitor softwares.
Information Architecture and User flow
Teams were split into 6: one for each affinity. Each affinity was given a designed information architecture and user flow.
Low fidelity sketches
The members of each team crafted low-fidelity skectes for their affinity.
High fidelity sketches and Design systems
The team for each affinity designed one high fidelity wireframe: of their most complex screen in the user flow.
Integrating the access points
Each affinity was connected to another. Mine came down to nine key access points.

Individual agenda
Group effort
Adapting access points to the forum idea
Each access point was adapted to the idea of a forum.
Noting KPIs
These adapted access points were elaborated on and KPIs of these features were noted.
Task flow discovery through KPIs
Relevant KPIs were connected to now form a task flow.
UI Design
My role
I collaborated with my team in creating user personas and user journeys for various potential users for the software. I also led the heatmaps and heuristic evaluation process for all affinities. In team meetings I voiced my ideas, assisted with SCAMPERing of ideas, low and high fidelity wireframes for onboarding and design systems.

Connecting access points
Features, methods and processes were ideated to connect each access point to ensure a smooth flow. Ideation led to the creation of a forum-style to connect the onboarding and community tour access points. This led to my idea, a forum based design software.
UI Design: Task flow derived by connecting KPIs.
Meet Loop.

Sign up or log in to the software.
Onboarding ends with software's own post.

The user accesses the community forum.
Clicks on discussion thread.

Gets templatised workspace.
User switches back to the community forum and uses the search feature to look for a desired design,

The user selects the post of his choice, and selects the learn option that will allow him to recreate the design.

The user gets a learning workpace with a step-by-step tutorial to recreate.
The user can now share this work on the forum.

The file is automatically saved to cloud.

Filters assist the user in finding the desired kind of file, such as those with a cloud resource (A template file).
